Family ties to mckinney

All 7 of the Sperry grandkids have attended MISD campuses (12 in all). Three have graduated and are in college.

 Lynn and Neil heard Audrey sing with Eddins Elementary Honor Choir at Texas Music Educators Association Convention in San Antonio.

Ella had just found out that she has made the Eddins Elementary Honor Choir.

Lynn with 4 of her grandchildren after all had volunteered at Special Olympics.

Lynn enjoyed talking school and life in general with her grandson, Joseph.

Nolan loved seeing Grandma Sperry on campus.

Lynn had the pleasure of attending every one of Audrey’s concerts in Dowell Middle School and Boyd High School as she played bassoon in concert band and orchestra.

Lynn attended the Texas Marching Band finals in the Alamodome as the Boyd Band became McKinney’s first to compete at that level. Ella was excited to be there.

 Lynn had just recognized Alex at school board meeting for going to state for McKinney North in wrestling (all 4 years).

Sam was recognized for his academics and choir at McKinney North. 

One of Lynn’s greatest joys have been to greet her grandchildren as they have walked across the stage at graduation. (Alex here) She has shaken the hands of thousands of MISD graduates over the years – every one of them!

Lynn and Neil have been married for 55 years. That’s the kind of commitment you want in a school board member.
