  • 39 years as elected member, McKinney ISD Board of Trustees
  • 12 years as a Director, Texas Association of School Boards, serving the 82 ISDs of Region X
  • Graduated from “Leadership TASB” with title of “Master Trustee”
  • Current Executive Board member and Past President, North Texas Area Association of School Boards (Regions X and XI)
  • Founding and current member, Baylor Scott and White Hospital, McKinney Board of Directors
  • 15-year board member and former President, Avenues Counseling Center Board of Directors, McKinney
  • Awards $40,000* in scholarships annually to graduating MISD seniors from her MEF endowment (*average of past two years)
